MATERIALS ASSOCIATE – SECOND SHIFT

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: Second Shift (Afternoon/Evening); Overtime as Needed

ABOUT THE JOB

This is a second‑shift, onsite role . As a Materials Associate (Second Shift) , you will join the Supply Chain team at Judge Consulting Group’s Atlanta, GA facility . The Supply Chain team plays a critical role in supporting Judge Consulting Group’s production operations and business growth by managing materials, inventory flow, and logistics during off‑peak and extended production hours.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, attention to detail, and creative problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced, resource‑constrained environment. This role requires flexibility and a hands‑on approach to ensure products are received, handled, and shipped in compliance with strict quality standards throughout second‑shift operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Process shipping and receiving activities during second‑shift hours at the Atlanta location and other Atlanta‑area facilities as needed
• Prepare finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing products
• Serve as a key contributor to ensuring all material movements between sites are accurately recorded and transacted
• Support orderly production and distribution by pulling orders from inventory, delivering materials and supplies to production areas, and staging finished goods for final shipment
• Perform cycle counts and execute all warehouse activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and organizing materials and supplies, recording inventory locations, and reporting shortages or discrepancies
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, or coordinate with operators to move materials to and from trucks and loading docks
• Courier inventory between Judge Consulting Group sites as required
• Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within and between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role
• Ability to work second shift exclusively , including overtime as business needs require
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work onsite and be local to Atlanta, GA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ year of forklift experience and valid forklift certification
• Experience working in the defense, aerospace, or highly regulated manufacturing industries
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or warehouse management and inventory control tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity tools
• Experience with inventory management using lot, serial, or batch tracking
• Experience packaging and handling hazardous shipments
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment
• Flexibility to adjust schedules based on production demands
• Strong task‑prioritization and time‑management skills
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
