Responsibilities:

The Research Assistant will work under the general supervision of the Project Coordinators on various research projects performing standard and complex laboratory procedures. Specifically, the Research Assistant will be responsible for data collection, data entry, data analysis, and qualitative coding, applying standard quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of results. The Research Assistant will also attend weekly meetings with the Project Coordinator to ensure tasks are being completed on time.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience working with people and research
  • Exhibits individual initiative; self-sufficient
  • Initiates and ensures compliance with applicable data collection procedures
  • Responsible, reliable, and punctual
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Possesses attention to accuracy and detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience


Preferred:

  • Reliable Transportation
  • Bilingual: Spanish
  • Experience in statistics and/or programming


Special Conditions:

  • Hours can potentially include after-hours or weekends - dependent on participants’ schedules and project needs
