Role: Power BI Assessment and Licensing Consultant

Duration: Fulltime

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Assessment and Licensing Consultant for a remote position. The consultant will be responsible for:

1. Current Power BI Environment Review : Evaluating the existing Power BI infrastructure and identifying areas for improvement.
2. Gap Analysis and Recommendations : Providing insights and actionable recommendations on Power BI infrastructure, administration, and development.
3. Licensing Assessment & Capacity Planning : Addressing scalability issues, security configurations, workspaces, and data model optimization.
4. Solution Support : Assisting the customer with tailored Power BI solutions.
5. Capacity Management : Ensuring effective servicing, scalability, availability, tuning, and metrics management.
6. Cost Optimization : Identifying opportunities to optimize Power BI-related costs.
7. Infrastructure Setup : Establishing robust infrastructure, including workspaces, licensing, monitoring, tuning, and security measures.
8. Data Connectivity & Gateway Configuration : Setting up data gateways, optimizing data connectivity, and managing data models, storage, refresh schedules, and scheduling processes.
9. Advanced Modelling & DAX Expertise : Applying advanced data modeling techniques and writing efficient DAX queries.

Experience: 10+ years in Power BI & Azure solutions

Experience:

• 8+ years in Power BI architecture & infrastructure
• 12+ years in advanced data visualization (Power BI & Azure tech stack)
• Expertise: Performance assessment, troubleshooting, and recommending best practices for Power BI & Azure systems
• Healthcare Domain Knowledge
• Leadership & Communication: Competent in guiding and advising client management with effective industry solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and optimize enterprise Power BI setups (licensing, infrastructure, performance, security)
• Work individually and with Microsoft support for Power BI and Azure systems
• Leverage Azure Well-Architected Review Pillars (Security, Scalability, Reliability, etc.)

Deliverables include detailed documentation, SLA-driven plans, and strategic recommendations to enhance user experience
