Oil & Gas Accountant (Immediate Hire)

Norwood Energy Corp is actively seeking a high-performance Oil & Gas Accountant to step in immediately and take full ownership of our accounting operations.

This is not a maintenance role - this is a fix it, own it, elevate it position.

We are scaling quickly and need someone who can bring accuracy, urgency, and accountability to a fast-paced energy environment.

What You’ll Own:

You will be directly responsible for ensuring our accounting is clean, compliant, and investor-ready at all times, including:

• Full-cycle accounting for oil & gas operations
• Joint Interest Billing (JIB) and revenue distribution
• 1099 preparation and filings (accuracy is non-negotiable)
• General ledger management and reconciliations
• Financial reporting for leadership and investors
• Partnering with operations on deal-level financials
• Cleaning up and correcting prior discrepancies where needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Direct oil and gas accounting experience (required)
• Strong understanding of JIB, working interest, and revenue accounting
• Experience with Wolfepak (highly preferred)
• Proven ability to identify issues, solve them, and implement better systems
• High attention to detail with a no-error mindset
• Someone who moves with urgency and ownership - not excuses
