Action Physical Therapy is a well-established and respected sports medicine outpatient orthopedic clinic specializing in physical, occupational, and hand therapy. We have multiple clinics in the greater Houston area in Bellaire, Memorial, and Missouri City. Our number one priority is the patient. Job Description



Action Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Medical Receptionist  to join our team in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Bellaire.

We are a hard-working group of individuals who come together to achieve one common goal: Ensuring patients are happy and receiving excellent care. 

 Job Duties:

  • Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service
  • Answer phones
  • Electronic scheduling
  • Data entry
  • Verify current personal and financial information
  • Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Collect, post, and deposit patient payments
  • Fax, file, and perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1+ years of previous medical front office experience
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Previous experience with medical software preferred
  • Available and flexible with your hours
  • Close attention to detail
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
