Project Manager – Landscape Construction

 

WMA Landscape Construction, Inc.

WMA Landscape Construction, Inc. is expanding and seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering high‑quality, profitable landscape construction projects. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, takes ownership of outcomes, and collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to drive project success.

Salary: 110,000- 150,000 per year

 

Start Date:

Immediate. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

 

Position Type:

Full‑time, in‑office position

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage landscape construction projects from pre‑construction through final closeout
  • Review project documents, bulletins, and scope changes; assist with RFIs, RFCs, addendums, and change order preparation
  • Prepare and submit RFIs, change orders, and supporting documentation to General Contractors
  • Track budgets, job costs, and project profitability; identify variances and adjust as needed
  • Prepare and complete project closeout documentation accurately and on time
  • Identify potential risks or challenges early and proactively implement solutions
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure project timelines, quality, and objectives are met
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Clients, Office and Field Personnel
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and analyze project data to support decision‑making
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Experience with inventory control, job costing, and process improvement
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with On-screen take‑off software, Plangrid and other construction management software preferred
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and project collaboration tools to manage schedules, costs, and documentation
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic construction environment
