Compensation Overview

The hourly salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual hourly rate for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?

As an InVEST Program Intern, you will play an integral role in the Boat & Yacht organization of Travelers’ Personal Insurance.

• Maintain and re-lettered increased authority agents
• Manage the binder drawer
• Run Loss Details and Line of Business reports
• Send out marine survey letter requests
• Plan the Job Shadow Events
• Prep yacht applications
• Organized and inventoried the marketing items
• Organize our Fort Lauderdale Dinner
• Create new business files
• Send out binder confirmation letters
• Input quotes
• Put together marketing kits

• Travelers is a business leader in providing products and services to a variety of clients. Consistently meeting customer needs gives us the edge in the insurance and financial industry. To maintain that edge, we prefer candidates with the following qualifications:
• Involvement in extracurricular activities is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office and Access is a plus
• Legally eligible to work in the United States on a permanent full-time basis
• Taking an InVEST course or Academy of Finance
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Ideal candidates will have the ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably, and exhibit the ability to drill down on information and draw conclusions
